Our Most Epic Milestones So Far This 2022

Because when we say EPIC – we mean it!
We couldn’t let these milestones pass by without sharing the greatest news with our dear clients, so here we are, quite emotional, yes, but eager to share this momentous highlight we have received so far this year.
Blue Haven Pools & Spas has just been awarded the Business of the Year award at the recently concluded Fairfield City Local Business Awards 2022.
But wait, there’s more! (and we mean MORE!)
We were also recognised as the Outstanding Specialised Business from the same award-giving body. And as expected, our Managing Director Remonda Rose Martinez was thrilled to learn about the great news.
“We are extremely grateful and humbled for having such major awards because it only goes to show how our valued customers and the community appreciate the quality of service and products we consistently provide. And yes, we will continue to strive to be the best and outstanding always,” she said.
As always, we are truly humbled by these awards – but for our team, nothing beats the support we get from the community, which for us is the greatest award and reward we can ever receive.

You know what they say – when it rains, it pours! In our case, though, it’s been pouring awards as we sashay through 2022! 💪💪
We are beyond grateful and forever humbled to be recognised by the Oscars of the Pool World – The SPASA Awards of Excellence. Being the swimming pool and spa industry’s most prestigious awards, the SPASA attracts entries from every region in Australia and showcases achievements in construction, design, manufacturing, supply, products, retail and service.
We won golds and silvers (yes, with an S!) 😉 because it’s not just one or two or three awards we got this year!
Here’s a quick rundown of what we have won from the SPASA Awards of Excellence:
For GOLD WINNER:
- Display Pool or Centre
- Concrete Lap Pool
- Freeform Pool up to $60,000
For SILVER Highly Commended:
- Residential Water Feature
- Renovation up to $60,000
- Concrete Lap Pool (two awards for this category)
- Display Pool or Centre
- Courtyard or Plunge Pool
And if you ask us if there’s a particular SPASA award that makes our hearts flutter – it might be the GOLD recognition for the Display Pool or Centre.
From Remonda’s words herself, “whilst Blue Haven is the first ever pool builder in the world to offer online pool sales, we still believe in the power of having an excellent display centre where customers can see, touch, and feel our products in person and immerse in the ultimate sensory experience with our state-of-the-art pools and spas. That’s why we strive to always make sure our flagship store at Lansvale has everything you need to imagine and conceptualise your dream backyard haven from start to finish,” she said.
With our General Manager and Pool Extraordinaire, Richie, being one of the brains working closely to turn our Lansvale vision into a reality, Blue Haven is deeply committed to redefining the concept of a pool showroom, and our very own Lansvale Centre of Excellence is soon to become more than just a vision.
“Lansvale is more than just a pool centre – it’s an innovation that’s beyond its time. We can’t wait to let our customers experience relaxation, comfort, convenience, and fitness in this remarkable showroom,” Richie said.
Receiving awards here and there isn’t something new to our team (our over 350 awards of excellence can attest to that,) but do you want to know a secret? Each award we receive always feels like the very first time. It’s that warm and amazing feeling that never gets old – and we’ll probably never ever get used to it.
So, keep them coming, please. We don’t mind. 🙂
