This is exactly the case with a project we did in Smithfield. The owners were looking for the ultimate outdoor space with a pool big enough for their extended family and friends because they loved to entertain. Additionally, they desired designated areas for relaxation and rest so that adults could socialise on one side and children could have their own space. An area dedicated to an epic pool party at home – of course for other purposes, too!

And Blue Haven answered the call. Our solution? A mesmerising pool and spa combination that’s now the pinnacle of their backyard entertainment.

How we made it happen

The spa was intended to be a hot area, but since the property lacked natural gas, we created a small raised spa as a spillover feature that could be heated with bottled gas with ease. We built ledges on either side of the spa, one for champagne relaxation and the other for jet therapy.

Featuring the Blue Haven Pebble and Glass Blend, the pool’s finish is as dazzling as it can get. From a distance, the pool water seems to dance gracefully, especially with the effect of the Travertine surrounds that makes the space even more calming. Sand filter has been installed, with gas heating for the spa, salt water, and jets on the ledge. 

The spa’s circular shape required our most talented craftsmen to tile because it was so difficult to construct. Additionally, a fully enclosed spillway was included in the design, which is both opulent and cutting-edge in terms of technology.

Additionally, we created a stunning water feature that perfectly complements the impressive spa and 12-metre pool without completely taking focus away from the said features.

This pool’s captivating night lighting was created with entertaining in mind.
